In celebration of National Customer Service Week 2015*, our team at Crompion International is collecting canned and boxed food to donate to our local food bank. We did this last year during customer service week and provided 93 meals, so we challenged ourselves to see if we could raise that number by inviting you and your company to participate along with us to help hungry families in your community.
This year, we also decided to have a little extra fun (and incentive!) and will be holding a sculpture competition using the food we donate. The more food, the better the sculpture!
To join us in helping our respective communities, all you have to do is collect non-perishable food items for your local food bank or food pantry. Many organizations will drop off a collection box or barrel at your request. Just collect the food during National Customer Service Week (October 5-9) and let us know how you did. Hey, send us a pic, too! This year’s theme is Everyday Heroes. What better way to be a hero to those less fortunate than to provide a meal?
Thanks in advance for joining our endeavor.
*Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. In 1992 the U.S. Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October.
